Protesters scuffled with riot police in Berlin's Neukolln district on Friday during a demonstration against the eviction of local left-wing pub «Syndikat.»
Activists made several attempts to break through a police cordon in order to reach the venue but were repelled by officers with batons.
It is the second night in a row that sees protesters and police officers clash close to the pub.
According to reports, in 2018 Syndikat failed to reach an agreement on the renewal of its lease with the owners of the building, who are reported to be a billionaire family from the UK owning thousands of properties in the German capital.
The original eviction date was set for April but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
