Former Bayern Munich goalkeeper Oliver Kahn was formally introduced as the club's executive board member at a news conference in Munich on Tuesday. Kahn was speaking alongside president Herbert Heiner.
«The DNA of this club, the DNA of FC Bayern Munich, is of course so deep in you that you can never leave the club after so long.» Kahn said during the press conference.

«And all of these things combined made us very quickly decide that Oliver Kahn was the right man for this job. We also wanted to have Oliver Kahn at an early stage so that we could prepare him for this new task early enough and intensively,» said Hainer.
50-year-old Kahn had played for Bayern Munich in 1994-2008 winning the Champions League, the UEFA Cup and eight Bundesliga titles.
