Germany: Neo-Nazis hold 'Shield and Sword' festival on Hitler's birthday

The Neo-Nazi 'SS Festival' was held in the small East German town of Ostritz on Saturday. The organiser of the event Thorsten Heise and NPD Politician Udo Voigt spoke to the media from the festival grounds. When asked about anti-Semitism in Germany, Heide stated, «We have the statistics that clearly say where these anti-Semitic mob stories come from. They come rather from immigrants which have... Еще arrived here and bring a certain amount of anti-Semitism with them from their homelands.» Voigt commented on his hopes for the AfD, stating that «if our plans succeed, we will really build a German national front.» The festival is called the Shield and Sword, or 'SS' festival, and starts each year on April 20, the birthday of Former German Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. According to the festival's website, it is organised under the motto 'Reconquista Europa' and will feature concerts, tattoo conventions and martial arts displays.
