Germany: Lufthansa cancels 1,300 flights over 48-hour strike

Passengers were left stranded in Frankfurt Airport after German airline Lufthansa scrapped 1,300 flights following a strike by the airline’s flight attendants on Thursday and Friday. Footage shows passengers being offered complimentary drinks by Lufthansa as they struggle to re-book flights at Lufthansa counters or self-check-in kiosks. The strike which started Thursday midnight has been... Еще organized by Flights attendants’ union UFO and is demanding better pay and pension for Germany’s largest airline cabin crew. Lufthansa has been disputing the legitimacy of UFO and is yet to recognise wither the union or its demands.
