Germany: Legendary film company UFA opens expo to mark centenary in Berlin

German's legendary film company UFA celebrated its centenary anniversary with an exhibition, featuring the highlights of the past century, at Berlin's Museum of Film and Television, Thursday. The exhibition includes darker elements of German film history, including Nazi-era films made by Nazi propaganda chief Joseph Goebbels, alongside Fritz Lang's infamous 'Metropolis' and Ernst Lubitsch's 'The... Еще Oyster Princess.' UFA was founded in 1917 as a propaganda tool for the German Kaiser before undergoing privatisation and restructuring in 1956.
