Communications & Media Director of International Paralympics Committee (IPC) Craig Spence stated that Russian Paralympic athletes would be able to take part in the upcoming Olympic Games, if it met five criteria before January 2018. He was speaking in the headquarters of IPC, in Bonn, Wednesday. Spence commented on the suspension set today on the RPC, saying the parties would meet in January... Еще and then «it will decide whether A; to keep the suspension in place and B; an alternative, if the suspension does remain in place in January, what does that mean regarding the participation of the Russian Paralympic Committee.» He added that the board did not take a decision on the participation of the Russian athletes at the Paralympic Games, so the RPC could meet the five requirements before the January deadline. «You have five criteria still to meet and you have until the end of January to meet them. And then if you do, there is a chance you may be at PyeongChang 2018.» underlined Spence.
