Germany: Hundreds take to the streets as Berlin's 2018 Women's March kicks off

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Berlin on Sunday, to partake in the Women's March 2018 in solidarity with worldwide women's marches. Protesters marched through the centre of Berlin, reaching the Brandenburg Gate with placards and banners, while chanting slogans against President Trump and his policies. The march was organised by 'Democrats Abroad Germany' association. «Here... Еще when we standing now we know that it could be very well a government that openly goes against us, as immigrants, as Muslims, as women, as LGBTIQ,» said an activist from the International block to free Ahed Tamimi. For Edna Bonhomme, an activist participating in the march «this is just the beginning as we build something bigger and stronger, and it doesn't just end with Trump, it doesn't.»
