Germany: Hundreds of passengers evacuated after train bomb threat

Hundreds of passengers travelling on a high-speed train (ICE) from Berlin to Hamburg, were evacuated in Friesack on Friday, following a bomb threat. Passengers were seen waiting to be placed on buses to continue their trip after being evacuated, as a large number of emergency response units were deployed on site. Police officers using search dogs could also be spotted as they looked for potential explosives that could had been left behind in the train. According to reports, a 30-year-old French man is believed to be the person behind the bomb threat that resulted in the evacuation of around 320 passengers.
