Germany: Hundreds march against racism and police brutality in Berlin

Hundreds took part in a demonstration against racism and police brutality in Berlin on Saturday, carrying Black Lives Matter signs as they marched through the streets. Meeting at the iconic 'Victory Column', the group rallied northwards to the city's Moabit neighbourhood. Two weeks ago, German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer decided to halt a proposed study into racial profiling among the country's police force, stating that there appeared to be no «structural problem» in Germany's police or public service.
