Germany: Greenpeace activists critique «Diesel Summit» meeting with projection on German Chancellery

Greenpeace activists beamed a projection on the facade of the German Chancellery in Berlin, early Thursday morning, criticising German Chancellor Angela Merkel for her role in the diesel scandal. The projection displayed a silhouette of Merkel in profile alongside text reading «File unresolved — NOx». The stunt made reference the 'Diesel Summit' meeting between government officials and German... Еще car manufacturers on Wednesday where the recent scandals over emissions testing were discussed. Following the meeting, German Minister for Transport and Digital Infrastructure Alexander Dobrindt stated that the emergency summit was called following a discussion «characterised by a loss of confidence in the automobile industry and — on the other side — an urgent necessity that we take measures within cities in order to reduce NOx and stay within the limits.»
