Germany: Govt. raises concerns over violence against Iranian protesters

German government spokespeople expressed concern over reports of fatalities and numerous arrests during anti-government protests in Iran, at a press conference in Berlin on Wednesday. Ulrike Demmer, deputy government spokesperson, and Rainer Breul, spokesperson for the Foreign Office, called on the Iranian Government to act with restraint and respect the freedom of assembly and expression...
