Multiple ministers gave their statements at the weekly government press conference in Berlin on Friday their responses to the ever-worsening coronavirus outbreak.
Regarding US President Trump's recent travel ban, Foreign Office spokesperson Adebahr said, «I think the Foreign Minister yesterday gave consternation that it was a decision that surprised us.”
Government Spokesperson Steffen Seibert... Еще said that “We already have regions now that show signs of dynamic outbreaks, we have regions that, due to their geographic location, like the ones that border with France, are very close to other crisis regions. And we have the firm expectation, unfortunately, that those outbreaks will be moving step by step to other parts of our country that are at the moment in a better situation.»

Federal Ministry of Health Spokesperson Hanno Kautz also stated that from Monday, “hospitals should postpone elective operations, in order to make space for intensive medical sections.”
The latest numbers show close to 2400 cases in Germany, with many events being cancelled and school closures.
