The first German wide interreligious Christian-Muslim kindergarten 'Abraham’s children' was inaugurated Thursday in Gifhorn, a small town in Lower Saxony. The idea came up in 2016 amid the refugee crisis and integration debate in Germany, when members of the Christian community asked the Muslim community for help. Soon both religious groups had the idea to open a kindergarten where both faiths... Еще would teach each other their values and different religious traditions. Initiators Martin Wrasmann and Yurtsever Rayman hope that this will be copied by other communities. The kindergarten will start its daily business next Thursday. Fifteen children of Christian, Muslim and atheist families from ages one to six years old will be playing and learning together.
