Germany: First snowfall causes 400 road accidents in Bavaria, 2 dead

The front of a car was ripped off and several other vehicles were severely damaged when they lost control on the A93 in the direction to Munich on Sunday evening, after the first snowfall of the season hit Bavaria. No serious injuries were reported. A pickup truck crashed into a railing when it lost control in the snowy conditions, while another vehicle rammed into a van after failing to break... Еще in time. According to the local fire department, nobody was seriously injured. Four passengers were taken to hospital for minor injuries. The incidents are just two of at least 400 road accidents that have been reported in Bavaria. Two people were killed in car collisions on Sunday evening. The snow began falling on Sunday afternoon and reached several inches within a few hours.
