Academy Award-winning film director Adam McKay said he would love to see a film about Russian President Vladimir Putin, as he strolled the red carpet of the 69th Berlinale International Film Festival in the German capital on Monday.
McKay, who presented his film ‘Vice’ at the Berlinale on Monday, said in an interview that «Putin would be an amazing movie,” adding that “I know a little bit about... Еще his story, and there's certainly a guy who has a lot of power. Yes, I would love to see that.»
He explained that he chose to make ‘Vice’ — a biographical film about the life of former US Vice President Dick Cheney — in order to explore the impact that unchecked power can have on human beings.
The Berlinale International Film Festival runs from February 7-17.
