German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said EU ministers are working to ensure that foreign holidays within the bloc are possible this summer. He made the comments at a press conference in Berlin on Monday.
«We should not give the illusion that there will be a quick return to business as usual. We just want to make sure that summer holidays are possible but only under responsible circumstances,» he... Еще said.
«It is necessary to inform people very clearly that there will be restrictions everywhere — on beaches, in restaurants, in city centres, and people must be attuned to this,» he added.
Maas went on to state that foreign ministers are working to replace a worldwide travel warning with a set of softer travel guidelines.
«June 15 is not the start-date for taking holidays, June 15 is the day when a decision must be made about whether the general worldwide travel warning is lifted,» he cautioned.
«We are working to replace this travel warning with travel guidelines,» he added.
