The Willinger Brewery has gifted hundreds of bottles of free beer to customers after they remained unsold due to the coronavirus restrictions. Locals were seen picking up their bottles in the town of Willingen in Hessen on Tuesday.
The brewery supplies beer directly to restaurants and hotels which had to be closed due to coronavirus measures. As the beer has a shelf life of around eight weeks... Еще the brewery decided to give it away over the last few days instead of wasting it.
'Beer master' Alexander Dechert stated that they hoped the offer would bring happiness to some. «We are giving away three types of beer from our production: dark, light and at the moment we have a winter beer left over called Bock beer, and people come and take three bottles each, and try according to their taste,» he said.
