Germany: Bremen airport closed after Russian private jet caught up in Storm Herwart

SOT, Journalist (German): «And what do you think about it now being closed?» SOT, Klaus Bultig, Father of re-directed passenger (German): «When I first heard about it, I thought hopefully nothing bad has happened. That’s why I came up here, because downstairs you can’t get any real information. And from here I saw ok there’s no fire there, no flames there. Perhaps the aircraft strayed from the... Еще runway but you couldn’t hear any sirens or see any blue light so things didn’t seem that bad. And that is a very reassuring, even when none of your relatives were in the aircraft.» Air traffic has been grounded to a halt in Bremen airport after a Russian private jet caught up in Storm Herwart came off the runway upon landing on Sunday. The plane was swept of course whilst landing, getting stuck in mud 15 metres away from the runway, resulting in a broken nose. No passengers were on board, and the three crew members escaped uninjured.
