Germany: Berlin rejects Lukashenko's claims of intercepted call about Navalny as 'false'

German government spokesperson Steffen Seibert rejected claims by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Berlin on Monday, over an alleged intercepted a phone call between Warsaw and Berlin, which stated that Navalny's alleged poisoning was fabricated. «These allegations set there by Mr Lukashenko are naturally false and the transcript from this fictitious talk, which one could read on the weekend, didn't change our opinion,» Seibert said. German officials also refused to give any comments on the extradition trial against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange that resumed earlier on Monday in London. German government spokesperson Steffen Seibert stated that the won't comment on the ongoing process, and added simply that «in our opinion the British legal system guarantees the principle of the rule of law» during the press conference in Berlin on Monday.
