Germany: Bayern boss Kovac admits 'it will be hard enough' to beat Leipzig

Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac addressed the media ahead of club's «tight game» against third-place RB Leipzig, speaking in Munich on Thursday. A win here will take the table-toppers to their seventh straight Bundesliga title even though they will have to do so without their captain Manuel Neuer who is still struggling with a calf injury. Kovac sounded cautiously optimistic about their race... Еще for the title, pointing out that «football is unique and special and we hope that we will be champions on the weekend.» Leipzig on the other hand looks to spoil their party after a formidable campaign which has seen them climb the charts from the fifth division to the first in just seven seasons. «We have 2 match points and we want to try and use the first one in Leipzig, but you know, we are not talking about anyone in particular but we are talking about a very good team, about a very good coach. I think so far in the competition they have lost only the first game against Dortmund and otherwise 4 draws, 11 victories, which means they also have a considerable series to show, as do we, so it will certainly be a very interesting game,» added Kovac. When asked about the scorn reserved for RB Leipzig, arguably the most divisive German club, Kovac said its time to instead focus on their success achieved by «good structured work» and «a concept from top to bottom.» With two games left to play this season, Bayern Munich take on RB Leipzig in what promises to be a high-octane encounter at the Red Bull Arena on Saturday.
