Minister-President of Bavaria Markus Soder visited the Bavarian State Office for Asylum and Repatriation in Manching near Ingolstadt, on Monday, to mark the one year anniversary of its foundation. He was accompanied by the Minister of the Interior for the state of Bavaria Joachim Herrmann.
Speaking at a press conference, Soder told reporters that he is very with what has been achieved in the past... Еще year, saying, «we have contributed a lot to the calming of the situation.»
«We send a signal to those who have a lead perspective, that they have the best chances for integration, but now send a clear signal to thugs and smugglers that it is not worthwhile to bet and hope that it will work in Bavaria,» he added.
The Bavarian State Office for Asylum and Repatriation was launched at the same time as the so-called anchor centres last year, which have since been called controversial. The centre works to verify the identity of migrants seeking asylum in the German state and is also responsible for returning migrants back to their countries of origin.
