Germany: AfD hold Mainz protest-memorial following murder of 14-yo girl

Supporters of the AfD (Alternative for Germany) held a demonstration on St. Peter's Square in Mainz on Saturday, over the 14 year old girl who was raped and murdered last month. The demonstration and memorial was also attended by AfD politician Uwe Junge, who spoke at the demo. «A young Rhineland-Pfalzer has died at the hands of a man who came to our country under the pretence of searching for... Еще protection. And today a young woman has died, who gave away her trust in good faith to 'mainstream people,' and had to pay for this trust with her life. Again, strangers who came here illegally are murdering in this country, and taking advantage of our hospitality, violating the law, and nevertheless not being deported,» Junge said. An anti-racism counter-demonstration was also held nearby, where one attendee accused the AfD of using the murder «to further their racist agenda.» The suspect in the murder of German 14-year old girl Susanna Feldman, refugee Ali B., was arrested in northern Iraq after fleeing Germany, according to officials. The Iraqi refugee is accused of raping and killing Feldman, whose dead body was found on the outskirts of Wiesbaden last Wednesday. The defendant reportedly fled Germany together with eight family members by boarding a plane to Iraq, before the arrest warrant was issued.
