Germany: AfD and NPD protesters attempt disrupting Merkel's Trier rally with whistles

Some Alternative for Germany (AFD) and National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD) protesters tried to disrupt the campaign rally of German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Trier, Friday, booing and whistling during her speech. Whistles could be heard while the chancellor touched on her point regarding the fight against Islamist terrorism, stressing that European countries must «work together... Еще internationally,» and «have to do everything in order to have the right legal bases.» However, when Merkel reiterated that «Europe is a peace project» that «must be protected» her supporters' applauding let no space to the noise of the protesters. The German Federal Election is set to take place on September 24.
