Germany: ‘Actions change the world’ — Protesters march to ‘occupy’ Hambach mine ahead of climate summit

Climate activists staged a protest in Kerpen, North Rhine-Westphalia on Sunday, protesting against usage of fossil fuels ahead of the COP23 UN Climate Change Conference. The protest was organised by the Ende Gelaende movement, an association of environmental group calling for civil disobedience against coal-fired power plants.
