Georgia: Anti-government demos enter 9th day

Protesters flooded the streets of Tbilisi on Saturday, for the ninth consecutive day of anti-government demonstrations. The crowd marched from Republic Square to Freedom Square in the capital, waving flags of Georgia, the EU, the USA and Ukraine. The protests began after Russian MP Sergei Gavrilov addressed the Georgian Parliament in Russian from the seat of the Georgian parliamentary speaker... Еще during the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy on Thursday, prompting several Georgian opposition politicians to leave the session.
