Fried noodles or FLYING noodles? Cookery meets acrobatics in this Chengdu restaurant

Chef Kang Xin Yu and his colleagues from Chengdu in China's southwest Sichuan province showed off their outstanding noodle-cutting skills, Saturday. Kang tantalised his audience by performing a noodle-slicing ceremony while riding a unicycle, in addition to other performances. Mr. Kang explained that it's all done because noodles' «future development lies in the field of innovation, and art... Еще skills must constantly improve.» Restaurant manager Nan Wen Hua said that they have been doing «noodle performances a lot» and that they «use a lot of traditional Chinese performing skills, such as acrobatics, martial arts and so on.»
