France: Trump and Melania arrive in Paris for WWI centenary commemorations

US President Donald Trump, accompanied by first lady Melania, arrived in Paris, late Friday, to participate in an international commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended World War I. Immediately upon his arrival, US leader published a tweet directed at French President Emmanuel Macron. «President Macron of France has just suggested that Europe build its own military in... Еще order to protect itself from the U.S., China and Russia. Very insulting, but perhaps Europe should first pay its fair share of NATO, which the U.S. subsidizes greatly!» Trump tweeted. On Saturday, Trump is expected to meet with Macron to discuss European security, Syria and Iran, among other topics. On Sunday's anniversary, Trump is supposed to join world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, for a ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe.
