Russian performance artist and political activist Petr Pavlenski set fire to Bank of France office at Paris’ Place de la Bastille, in the early hours of Monday. Footage shows the aftermath of the fire on Monday morning. According to eye witnesses, the activist reportedly called for the «French revolution» claiming that «bankers have taken the place of monarchs.» Pavlenski along with another... Pavlenski, who recently received a political asylum in France, is known for his shock performances such as nailing his scrotum to Moscow's Red Square and sewing his mouth shut in solidarity with Pussy Riot. Previously he was arrested for setting fire to doors of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) headquarters in Moscow.
