A firefighter was hit with a rubber bullet in the head during ongoing demonstrations in Paris on Wednesday over working conditions.
Footage shows the firefighter sitting on a police vehicle, holding a flare when his head jerks backwards and he seems to be knocked out. He later climbs down from the vehicle and is carried away by colleagues.
Earlier on Tuesday another rally ended in chaos as... Еще police forces deployed tear gas and water cannons against uniformed firefighters.
Fire officials are hitting the streets to demand better working conditions and an increase from 19 to 25 per cent in their 'hazard bonus', as they claim staff shortages have been making their job more difficult.
A previous protest held by French firefighters in October was marred by clashes with police in Paris and in the southern city of Dijon.
