French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe announced a new law against undeclared protests in order to thwart violent protests while speaking in Paris on Monday.
Philippe was speaking on national TV after the eighth consecutive weekend of violent 'Yellow Vest' protests swept through France. Planning ahead, Philippe announced that «we made the decision to ensure a considerable mobilization of the... Еще police for next Saturday.»
Philippe then announced the government's plans to introduce new legislation against undeclared protests.
«A new law will be adopted that will allow punishing those who do not respect this obligation to declare [the event], those who participate in protests that are not declared, those who arrive at these protests,» said Philippe.
