France: Paris honours World Cup heroes with huge victory parade

Thousands of joyful fans gathered at Paris' Champs Elysees on Monday to celebrate the World Cup winners, the French national football team, with a victory parade. Starting at the Arc de Triomphe, Les Bleus paraded down one of the main streets of the French capital, riding a special double-decker bus. While they were greeting their supporters, throwing T-shirts and balls into the cheering crowds... Еще, and showing off the trophy, several aircraft dispersed the colours of the French flag in the sky overhead. By winning 4-2 over Croatia in the 2018 World Cup final, France took the title of champions for the second time in the tournament's history, with their first triumph being on home soil in 1998.
