France: Locals pay tribute to bus driver killed over face masks in Bayonne

Residents of Bayonne paid tribute to Philippe Monguillot, a 59-year-old bus driver who died on Friday from wounds reportedly sustained in an attack in a dispute over the use of face masks in public transport, as seen on Saturday at the Balishon bus stop. Monguillot was left brain dead after being attacked on his bus when he reportedly asked four passengers to wear face masks. The 59-year-old bus driver died on Friday after his family decided to turn his life support off. According to local authorities, two men have since been arrested and charged for attempted murder.
