France: Le Pen claims 'insecurity' increasing in France

President of the French right-wing populist party ‘Front national’ (National Front) Marine Le Pen said that the current government doesn’t provide security to its people and it's law enforcement during a press conference at the National Assembly in Paris on Wednesday. Le Pen said that French police have increasingly been targeted during the past two years. “The police officers are not the only... Еще victims, in 2016 assaults against firefighters increased by 17.6 per cent”, she said before adding, “In terms of insecurity, the government does nothing.” The Front National leader said that France must implement a policy of “zero tolerance” and “initiate a programme of opening up prison places, to establish a minimum sentence, to systematically expel foreign offenders.”
