Hundreds took to the streets of Paris on Tuesday, to join the 'Immortal Regiment' march commemorating the 73rd anniversary of the capitulation of Nazi Germany to the Soviet Union in World War II. People marched through the French capital with Soviet, Russian and French flags and portraits of relatives killed in the war, while chanting Soviet war songs. The participants marched from the Place... Еще de la Republique to the monument of the Russian soldiers fallen at the French resistance in 'Cimetiere du Pere Lachaise', where they placed flowers at the monument. The Immortal Regiment campaign is scheduled to take place across the globe and in dozens of Russian cities at the start of May. The march honours the collaboration of Soviet Russia with France and the rest countries of the alliance during the WW II.
