France: Candles and flowers laid at gates of college in Paris suburb in memory of beheaded teacher

Flowers and candles were seen placed near the Bois d'Aulne college in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine in Paris suburb, Saturday, in memory of murdered teacher Samuel Paty, who had worked there. On Friday, 47-year-old history teacher Samuel Paty was beheaded by an 18-year-old man outside the college in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, northwest of Paris, according to police quoted in media. The teacher had recently shown caricatures of Islam's Prophet Muhammad to his students during a discussion on freedom of speech. French President Emmanuel Macron described the incident as an «Islamist terror attack» and urged the nation to unite.
