France: Anti-fascists commemorate anniversary of activist Clement Meric's murder

Several hundred protesters took to the streets of Paris on Saturday, on the fifth anniversary of the death of Clement Meric, an anti-fascist activist who was killed after a fight with alleged far-right «skin-heads.» Protesters let off flares, marched through the streets shouting anti-fascist slogans and holding banners. Clement's mother also attended the rally, «I am here because Clement is... Еще only one among many boys that had been killed by fascism. Here today are mothers from Italy and Spain, to remind that now in Europe, there are many people harmed by the regime.» Clement Meric died on June 5, 2013 after a fight erupted between far-right and left-wing groups close to the Gare Saint-Lazare.
