France: Activists 'slit throats' for World Vegan Day protest in Paris

Vegan activists splattered in fake blood, with 'slit throats' and holding gruesome signs, staged a protest outside the Palais-Royal, which houses the Ministry of Culture, in Paris on Thursday. Alexandra Blanc, President of the group 'Vegan Impact' who organised the protest, explained why some activists had slit throats saying «in France there are three million animals that are slaughtered every... Еще day in the French slaughterhouses. That's why some activists have their throats cut.» The protest dubbed «Stop the bloodbath» by the group, coincided with World Vegan Day, an event observed worldwide with both celebrations of vegan products and protests against meat consumption.
