France: Activists put ‘human meat’ on display in Paris to protest meat consumption

Animal rights and vegan activists staged a performance on Paris' Igor Stravinsky square, Saturday, to denounce the consumption of meat one day ahead of World Vegetarian Day. As part of the performance, several activists were wrapped and laid in trays, symbolising meat for sale. The performance was organised by the L214, 269Life France and Vegan Impact associations. Alexandra LeBlanc, head of... Еще Vegan Impact, said, «There are more and more videos showing what is happening. It is horrible what the animals suffer because of our food choices. We try to make people aware of it. Animals feel emotions, like us, joy, fear, pain, so it's time to stop making them suffer and exploit them.»
