Ferrari showed off its new racing car — the Ferrari 488 Pista — at the Geneva International Motor Show in the Palexpo convention centre on Tuesday. The Ferrari Pista 488 is powered by a biturbo 3.9-litre V8 engine, with around 711 break horse power, taking the car from 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds and zooming to a top speed of 211 mph (340 kph). The Italian sports carmaker says the name Pista... Еще — meaning Track in English — pays homage to Ferrari's unparalleled heritage in motor sports and is a sign of technological carry-over from racing. The Ferrari Pista 488 is expected to go on sale for around €240,000 ($300,000). Over 700,000 visitors are expected to attend the 88th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show, which will open its doors to the public on Thursday. The exhibition will show 900 models, with more than 110 World and European Premiers from 180 exhibitors.
