El Salvador: Salvadorians react to Trump's alleged 'shithole countries' comment

President of El Salvador Salvador Sanchez Ceren reacted to US President Donald Trump's alleged comments referring to El Salvador, Haiti and African countries as «shithole countries» during a speech from Ciudad Delgado, Friday. Citizens of El Salvador's capital San Salvador also reacted to Trump's alleged offensive comments, with one man stating «this man [Trump] is a millionaire with a... Еще militarist-interventionist mentality, he does not think about the needs of the underdeveloped people as we are, those who have the need to emigrate to those countries to look for a better future.» Another resident of San Salvador added that Trump «should think before he speaks. It is not fear to treat people like this. He is supposed to be an example in his own country.» Donald Trump is alleged to have said «why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?» during a Thursday Oval Office meeting with a handful of members of the House and Senate. He allegedly then added «we should bring in more people from places like Norway.» Trump reportedly denied making such comments on Friday, during a meeting in which he rejected a bipartisan deal on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals programme.
