Egypt: Votes tallied after three-day referendum on constitutional changes

A three-day referendum concluded on Monday after Egyptians took to the ballot boxes in Cairo and all across the country to determine a series of constitutional changes that could see incumbent Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi remain in office until 2030. The proposals, which were initiated by the 'Support Egypt' pro-government parliamentary bloc, would extend the presidential term from four to six years and give the president more control over the judiciary.
