The schedule starts early at 11:50 the previous evening, when the closely watched Japanese third quarter preliminary GDP is released. The second quarter data showed the Japanese economy is growing, but at a slower pace than the point 5% gain a quarter ago. Chinese Industrial Production for... Еще October follows at 2 AM. Output slowed down unexpectedly in September, following a 6.3% annual gain the previous month. Chinese Retail Sales for October are out at the same time. Sales picked up speed in September, posting the strongest growth in 9 months. The final estimate of Japanese Industrial Production for September will be available at 4:30. August data came in weaker than anticipated, following a 1.5% gain the previous month. Swiss Producer Price Index for October comes at 8:15. The Index rebounded in September, reversing a point 3% drop a month ago. Euro Zone Industrial Production for September is released at 10. Output grew at a solid pace in August as durable goods, capital goods, energy and intermediate goods all went up. New Zealand third quarter Retail Sales are out at 9:45 PM GMT. The second quarter data surprised on the upside, following a 1% gain a quarter ago. And Reserve Bank of Australia will publish the closely watched Minutes of its November Monetary Policy Meeting at half past midnight. The meeting brought no changes to the monetary policy.
