Friday is the Purchasing Managers Indices day, so let's take a closer look with the Economic Calendar. The preliminary September PMIs from several Euro Zone countries are out first thing in the morning, starting with the French release at 7. The German indices follow half an hour later, and the Euro Zone data will be available at 8. The Euro Zone Services PMI stood almost unchanged in August as... Еще improved French data was reversed by a drop in Germany; the opposite was true for the Manufacturing PMI. Coming up next at 12:30 PM GMT is the closely watched Canadian Consumer Price Index for August. The annual inflation came in weaker than anticipated in July, losing point 2% on the back of declining petrol prices. Canadian Retail Sales for July are out at the same time. Sales slipped in July as food and general merchandise retail both went down. And the preliminary version of US Manufacturing PMI for September concludes the schedule at 1:45. The Index eased in August from the 10-month high it reached the previous month, but it does remain firmly in the positive territory. I'm Sam Meredith and these are the news releases to watch on Friday, the 23rd of September. Check back in for the next overview of news releases for Monday. Goodbye.
