Dwarf models redefine beauty standards in Paris

The sixth edition of the 'Dwarf Fashion Show' returned to Paris on Tuesday, with models measuring no more the 1.30 metre (4.27 feet) tall taking to the runway. «I've been working in fashion industry for 10 years now and the requirement is always the same — tall and skinny,» said the show's founder Myriam Chalek, «so little by little, we are kind of turning the tide of very restrictive and... Еще discriminatory requirement of the fashion and model industry.» Founded in 2014, the show aims at reversing the diktats of beauty and give smaller-sized people the opportunity to express themselves and their creativity in the field of textiles.
