The trial against Danish inventor Peter Madsen over the death of Swedish journalist Kim Wall on his self-made submarine began in Copenhagen's City Court House on Thursday. Madsen has been accused of murdering Wall on his self-made submarine while she was conducting an interview. In his first statement to the court this morning he denied the murder charges. Prosecutor Jakob Buch-Jepsen... Еще answered a few media questions before the trial, stressing that «it is important to emphasise that the case will be heard before the court and not in the media.» The crowdfunded submarine sank near Copenhagen's coast on 10 August 2017. At the time, Madsen claimed that Wall, who had joined him on board of the vessel as part of research for a news story, had been safely evacuated to shore before the sinking. He later changed his version several times claiming Wall died during the accident.
