Eighty-four tombs were vandalised at a Jewish cemetery located in the western Danish city of Randers. Police discovered the vandalised graves on Sunday.
Several gravestones were daubed with paint — some with the letter ‘X’ written on them — while others were overturned. The Ostre Kirkegard cemetery was established in the early 19th century.
The incident comes on the 81st anniversary of... Еще Kristallnacht (also known as the November Pogroms or the 'Night of Broken Glass').
November 9, 1938, marked the beginning of the November Pogroms, which saw the destruction of thousands of Jewish businesses and 267 synagogues throughout Germany, Austria and the Sudetenland.
