Hundreds rallied in Prague's Old Town Square on Tuesday to protest Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis' handling of the coronavirus pandemic.
Protesters were seen standing in the square with a large Czech flag, while observing social distancing.
«Our Prime Minister Babis spends public money to support his friends' businesses, his own business, his Agrofert business. And this is not a good way. During the last crisis, he spent 10 billion crowns to send to China instead of supporting the Czech industry. He actually ignored everything that we produce here,» said a protester.
Similar protesters were held across the country, reportedly in 167 other locations, with demonstrators deploring insufficient help for the economy amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
