The commemoration ceremony for former Bosnian Croat General Slobodan Praljak saw Zagreb's Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall filled out on Monday. Praljak was buried in a secret and private ceremony at Zagreb's Mirogoj cemetery on Thursday. Among the hundreds at the ceremony were war veterans, army generals and ordinary citizens. Praljak was appealing a conviction from 2013 for committing crimes... Еще against humanity in Mostar during the 1992-1995 war. The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia upheld the 20-year jail sentence. After learning his fate, Praljak drank a poisonous liquid to the confusion of members of the court. He died in hospital shortly afterwards.
