Widespread damage was visible in the streets of Zagreb on Sunday, after a 5.3 earthquake struck Croatia leaving several injured.
Footage shows damaged buildings as well as rubble and bricks littering the streets of Croatia's capital, with the cathedral's roof missing its cross. Emergency services could also be seen in the cordoned off streets of the city centre.
Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic... Еще, who rushed to the scene to assess the extent of damage, confirmed the earthquake was the biggest in the capital in the last 140 years.
According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the epicentre was 7 km (4 miles) north of Zagreb at a depth of 10 km (6 miles).
