Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic and her main challenger, former prime minister Zoran Milanovic, cast their vote in the presidential election runoff, in Zagreb on Sunday.
When leaving the polling station, Milanovic was harangued by a man who called him a «communist.» «You want to be the Croatian president? Get out of here,» he added.
Social Democratic Party candidate Milanovic reacted... Еще to the episode in front of the press and said «those hooligans can't destroy me.»
Standing on behalf of the Croatian Democratic Union, Grabar-Kitarovic, who is seeking re-election, also cast her ballot and called on Croatians to «to come and vote today.»
In the first round of the presidential election, Milanovic obtained a majority of votes with 29.6 per cent, while incumbent Grabar-Kitarovic secured 26.7 per cent.
Today's election comes only days after Croatia took over the European Union's six-month presidency for the first time.
